About Us

We are a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School in Lincoln welcoming children aged 6 months -4 years old.

The school was established in the 1940s and has been providing high-quality Early Years education and care ever since.

Our Nursery offers Qualified Teachers, Early Years Specialists and Educators with a passion for the best for young children to educate and care for the children in our school. 

The Nursery School benefits from a spacious indoor and outdoor environments and Forest School classroom. 

We are proud to have had 6 consecutive Outstanding Ofsted reports.

Parents and carers are overwhelmingly positive in their praise for the school.

They particularly value the warmth and expertise of staff, the frequent communication and the range of rich experiences their children benefit from.

We are open during term time; 8am-5.30pm, with the main sessions from 8.am-5.30pm.

As a Maintained Nursery School we specialise in educating and caring for young children aged between 6 months to 5 years old.

We are very lucky to be one of only five Local Authority maintained Nursery Schools in the county and the only Local Authority maintained Nursery School in the north of Lincoln and the surrounding area.  This privileged position means that we are a ‘real’ school, with a Headteacher, fully qualified teachers and teaching assistants who are all specialists in Early Education.
