Flowerpot Room

Welcome back to the Flowerpot Room everyone 🌻🌸 Over the next two weeks we will be continuing with our routines. We will also be welcoming two new friends to our room. We hope they will enjoy their visits and feel at home.
I have added some photographs of fireworks for the children to look at and to help them with a little bit of recall from their busy break 🎆
On the interest table we have put out a variety of pumpkins, some small, some large and some with different textures to feel and explore. It would be lovely to hear if any of the children went to see any firework displays or went pumpkin picking 🎃 we have also collected some leaves and pine cones and added lentils for the children to explore.
In the sandpit, we noticed the children enjoyed transporting with the large vehicles, so we have put them in the sand where the children can fill and empty 🚛 🛻
In the small world play the children enjoy playing with the people and the houses, so we have put a castle in their as an interest for them 🏰
Our new story is going to be Dinosaur Roar ! 🦕 We will be using lots of props to tell this story. I have added a link for you to look at with your child so it’s familiar to them. Please see the link below:-
